  • Typically, the therapy sessions are offered online, while trauma intensives are held in-person in a comfortable lakeside setting just outside Atlanta, Georgia.

    If you live in the Atlanta area and prefer your therapy sessions to be in person, we may be able to accommodate this.

  • While ThrivingHeart is located in metro Atlanta, many services offered by ThrivingHEART® are provided online.

    In-person trauma intensives, groups, and professional development workshops are offered in different locations around Georgia.

  • While I have extensive experience with children, my practice is now focused on older adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Today, I work with younger children when doing parent coaching and as part of family systems work.

  • Yes

    All kinds of families come to ThrivingHeart looking for support and answers. I work with the entire family system to encourage healthy relationships and compassionate communication. Sometimes that means I am working with just one person, or siblings, or the parents, and then I’ll see everyone all together. It’s a wrap-around approach to therapy that works.

    We are an affirming practice that welcomes traditional and non-traditional families.

  • At this time you must submit a request via the contact page of our website. Please allow 24-48 hours for Kristine to respond with availability information.

    If onboarded, she will provide the next steps and paperwork needed for your first session.

  • We do accept reimbursement from the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program.
    This program through the State of Georgia provides funds to victims of violent crimes and their family members for mental health, medical and other services.

  • My current fee for psychotherapy/counseling:

    $200 per hour

    My current fees for day-long and two-day intensives for individuals and couples:

    $1,750 for a day-long Intensive

    $3,750 for a 2-day intensive, including overnight accommodations

    Intensives up to 4 days are possible and the price varies based on the number of days and people included in the work.

    Group experiences, professional development workshops, and public speaking are priced separately.

    My rates are adjusted annually effective January 1.

  • We do not take insurance, however, we are happy to provide any documentation you may need to submit to your insurance for any out-of-network benefit coverage you may have.
